Task:

Create clear and easy-to-follow user guide videos for School District Sierra Leone — a school management platform that helps teachers handle tasks like attendance, grading, and student records. These videos should show educators how to use the platform step-by-step, making it easier for new users to adopt the tool.

Deliverables:

• Multiple 1-minute tutorial videos (maximum 60 seconds each), each covering a specific feature of the School District platform

• Each video must include:

• Platform for Upload: Must be posted on Instagram/Tiktok/Facebook

Submission Requirements:

• Videos must show actual use of the live platform at https://school.edu.sl/

• Use this sample login account to access the platform:

• Use realistic examples to demonstrate each task

• Must be locally appropriate made with Sierra Leonean school teachers and staff in mind

• Keep instructions clear, visual, and easy to follow — no tech jargon

• Final videos should be polished and ready to hand off to the School District team for onboarding and training purposes

Judging Criteria:

• Clarity & Simplicity: Can a first-time user easily understand how to do the task shown?

• Coverage: Are key features of the platform addressed across the set of videos?

• Presentation Quality: Are the visuals clean, is the pacing good, and are instructions easy to follow?

• Local Fit: Are the examples, voice/captions, and presentation relevant to schools in Sierra Leone?

Important Note:

These videos will be handed over to the School District team for actual use, so all submissions must be practical, professional, and effective as onboarding tools.
